REDLANE Guide Terms of Use

1. The provider and product

REDLANE Guide is supplied by Calvin Promotions Sàrl, Chemin des Ceps 34, 1217 Meyrin, Geneva, Switzerland. Contact support@redlane.xyz. Our company website is https://www.redlane.xyz.

These terms govern the REDLANE Guide Android edition: the adjustable reading line/lane, Lane Studio, local guide-use statistics and associated account, support and purchase services. The product does not capture your reading, provide a Memory Hub or analyze reading with AI. Future memory, AI, cloud services or separately sold editions are not included in this purchase unless explicitly stated in your offer.

2. Eligibility and accepting the offer

Guide accounts, the live Guide, trials and new purchases are available only to people aged 18 or older. Parent or guardian approval does not make a person under 18 eligible. You must also have the legal capacity or authorization required in your country to enter this agreement; 18 is not a claim of legal adulthood everywhere. Privacy, deletion, support and legitimate purchase-recovery rights remain available regardless of age. This change does not automatically refund, revoke or consume an existing purchase, or remove mandatory consumer rights.

You must be able to enter this agreement. You can inspect the Studio preview before starting an account trial. Before trial activation and before purchase, we show the applicable offer and make these terms available to save. Completing the relevant acceptance step forms the agreement for that service. Our Privacy Policy explains data processing; acknowledging that notice is not consent to optional analytics, diagnostics or marketing.

3. The 14-day trial and one-time purchase

The commercial trial provides full guide functionality for 14 consecutive days. It starts when you explicitly start the trial and the guide is successfully activated after the required setup. Creating an account alone does not start it. The account's displayed expiry is authoritative; reinstalling or changing devices does not provide a new trial for the same account. A failed permission setup does not start the fourteen days. Provisional setup permits are limited to sixty seconds and three attempts per account; if setup repeatedly fails, support can investigate before further access is provided.

You do not provide a payment card to us to begin the trial. There is no automatic charge when it ends. To continue using the live guide after expiry, actively choose the one-time unlock. Studio preview, account access, purchase restore, privacy controls and support remain available. Trial expiry does not delete your local preferences or statistics.

The reference offer is EUR 9.99 once, with the actual local currency price and applicable tax treatment shown by Google Play before confirmation. The checkout price controls the transaction; local prices can differ. A price change affects new purchases and does not create a recurring charge for existing owners. Google Play handles payment under its applicable terms. We activate the paid entitlement after the purchase has completed and been verified; a pending or cancelled payment does not establish ownership.

4. What the licence includes

A verified purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the defined non-AI Android Guide edition on your compatible devices associated with your account. You may use it for your own personal reading, study and work. It has no subscription fee or scheduled licence expiry. It is not a right to resell the app, share one account as a multi-user commercial licence or distribute modified copies of our software.

The purchase includes the functionality described in the offer and updates provided for this edition under the support and security-update policy, together with any updates or remedies required by applicable law. It does not promise support for every future Android version or include separately offered products. We will not remove the core purchased licence merely to require you to buy that same licence again.

5. Accounts, restoration and offline use

Use Google sign-in or an email link and keep access to that sign-in method secure. Google Play's purchasing account can differ from your REDLANE sign-in account. The purchase confirmation shows the account to which the entitlement will be linked. Use the secure linking process to add a sign-in method; matching email text alone is not proof of ownership.

Use Restore purchase if paid access is missing after reinstalling or changing devices. Restoration can require an internet connection and evidence of the original purchase. If there is an account mismatch, contact support; you should not buy again to resolve a verification error. A valid licence is associated with one REDLANE account at a time, and we use a verified recovery process to resolve ownership conflicts.

An already verified paid copy can be used offline for its signed-in account. Signing out or switching accounts ends that account's local access. Trial access uses the last server expiry and a trustworthy elapsed-time anchor; a reboot or ambiguous anchor can require reconnection. Offline copies cannot receive instantaneous refund/revocation changes. Starting a trial, buying, restoring or recovering an account requires connectivity. A temporary network failure is not treated as a refund or licence revocation. A genuinely refunded, revoked or fraudulent transaction can cease to provide paid access.

6. Device compatibility and safe operation

The current supported Android versions and known restrictions are stated in the store listing and Setup & Help. Android's “display over other apps” permission is needed for the live guide. The guide does not require reading screen contents or granting a screen-capture permission.

Some applications and protected system screens block overlays; device navigation areas can also limit edge gestures. We do not guarantee operation over every app or screen. Try the guide in your normal reading apps during the trial and contact support about problems. You can stop the overlay immediately through the app or its service notification and revoke its Android permission.

Guide-time statistics describe use of the guide. They do not establish words read, comprehension, productivity or a medical benefit. The app is a reading utility, not a diagnosis or treatment. Do not use it in a situation where interacting with your phone is unsafe.

7. Refunds and problems with a purchase

Your mandatory consumer rights remain intact. Google Play's applicable refund procedures are available through your order history and its help pages. You can also contact us directly at support@redlane.xyz with the transaction reference and problem; do not send payment-card details.

The 14-day product trial does not replace any statutory right to withdraw from a purchase or obtain a remedy for faulty or non-conforming digital content. Where law provides a withdrawal right, any exception for immediate digital delivery requires the information, express requests/consents and confirmation that the law requires; accepting these general terms alone is not treated as a blanket waiver. We will address defects and provide the repair, correction, price reduction, termination or refund rights that apply to your transaction.

If you believe verification has wrongly refused an eligible purchase or refund, request a human review. A refund can remove the corresponding paid entitlement, but it does not remove your right to raise a complaint.

8. Privacy, feedback and deletion

Optional analytics, diagnostics and marketing choices do not affect the features included in your purchase. Detailed guide statistics stay local and can be reset separately from your account. The Privacy Policy explains online processing, recipients, retention and rights.

You can delete your account in the app or through our published account-deletion page. Deletion signs you out and removes account data subject to the limited exceptions explained in the Privacy Policy; it is not an automatic refund request. We retain only justified transaction evidence needed for statutory obligations or verified ownership/recovery. If you later need to restore a valid purchase, contact us or use the verified restoration process. Deletion does not mean we require you to repurchase a valid licence.

Feedback remains yours. You permit us to use what you send to answer the report and improve the product; this does not grant a right to publish your name, private message or testimonial without your permission.

9. Security, availability and changes

Do not misuse the service, submit malicious material, attempt to access another person's account or fraudulently obtain paid access. This does not restrict rights the law gives you, including permitted security research or interoperability activities. Report a suspected vulnerability privately to support@redlane.xyz, using “REDLANE security” in the subject.

We maintain reasonable security measures and the update commitments stated in our published support policy. We may temporarily restrict a specific feature to address a genuine security or legal problem, using proportionate measures and giving information where possible. We do not use security controls to bypass your privacy choices or impose unrelated new charges.

Material changes to these terms are notified in advance where practicable. We explain their reason and effect; new optional data purposes require a separate choice when required. Changes do not retroactively remove rights relating to an existing purchase. If a change materially reduces what you bought, the notice will explain available remedies under applicable law. For planned end of service, we target 90 days of advance notice where reasonably possible. Security, legal, platform or similar constraints can require shorter notice. We explain the practical impact on purchased access and local data and provide the remedies required by law. This is not a promise of lifetime service.

10. Responsibility, disputes and contact

Each party is responsible to the extent provided by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer rights. In particular, there is no exclusion for fraud, intentional misconduct or other liabilities that the applicable law makes non-excludable. We make no promise of uninterrupted operation or a particular reading outcome beyond the functionality and commitments we expressly describe.

Swiss law governs these terms, while preserving mandatory protections that apply to you as a consumer under the law of your habitual residence. Courts and complaint procedures available under mandatory consumer law remain available; these terms do not force all consumers to bring proceedings only in Geneva.

For support, refunds, privacy questions or complaints, contact support@redlane.xyz. Include your app version and a description of the issue. We will handle the request through the appropriate support or rights process.

### Account continuity and deletion scope

Your REDLANE sign-in identity is a Firebase Authentication UID shared by REDLANE services in the same project. The purchase is the distinct guide_unlock entitlement for this utility. Future REDLANE features do not silently replace that entitlement or require creating a different account. This statement does not promise future features or their prices.

Resetting local statistics removes only that installation's current account statistics. Signing out removes local access/session state; it is not server account deletion. The action Delete REDLANE account deletes the shared REDLANE sign-in identity and queues removal of the currently implemented Guide account data. It is not a Guide-only unsubscribe and may affect every service using that identity. Other devices' local files are not remotely erased. Before another product shares this identity, its deletion must be integrated into the account-wide workflow. Restricted transaction/recovery records are retained for the purposes and limitations explained in the Privacy Policy; deletion does not issue a refund.

Founding Circle offer

The offer concerns the first 50,000 paying Guide buyers, not downloads or account registrations. Selected privileges, preferred pricing and access to certain future releases are subject to their separately communicated scope and eligibility. The Guide app does not currently allocate membership or confirm an individual membership. No named future product, release date, price reduction or AI entitlement is included by implication. Your existing Guide purchase and mandatory rights do not depend on future releases.
